A Balanced Breakfast

My baby this semester was primarily my visual storytelling project. It turned out to be a 15 minute almost 200 panel storyboard about a family during breakfast time. It is partially a heart warming tale about a young boy and his beloved ant farm, but mostly it is just silliness and stupid people commencing in chaos. (See this post for all the pre-vis work I did for my mid-term...I still really love those rough layouts. It's too bad perspective dies in storyboards, heh)

This is another project I'd like to work more on. My teacher had some great story suggestions after my final pitch and I think it'd be really fun to take it to animatic format. We'll see if I have the time. It was a lot of fun to do in any case. This is the first big storyboarding project I've ever undertaken. I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but I think I learned a lot.

Since there are so many boards, I'll post just a few sequences that I like.
